Cambodia is very poor country.
The houses in the village are poorer than the ones in other countries.
Dirt and dust comes in to the houses.
The kids were playing out side naked.
The kid who drinks the water that isn’t safe enough.
Why is this country so poor?
It’s due to the massacre during Pol Pot regime in 1970 which killed 2 million Cambodians out of 8 million population.
The people who had survived the massacre were forced in to hard manual labor and many of them lost their lives.
Moreover, numbers of land minds that still remain in the ground blow up the people’s hands, feet and taking their lives.
The situation lead to extremely low presence of adults, the half of Cambodia’s population is below 18 years old.
There aren’t much bearers for the country’s future. Thus, there is no adult who can educate the kids.
The situations makes the country more and more poor.
But the kids smiles brightly.
Even in this tough circumstance, the kids are surviving with golden smiles.
The tour is limited to 5 groups of guest (10 guests in total) a day.
$25 per person
※$40 per person for a single guest.

The tour expense above goes to
$15 for local tuk tuk driver.
$5 for cow cart driver.
All the rest of the sales goes to support the operation of the orphanage.
